Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope everyone has had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for everyone and everything in my life. Thankful for my husband and two boys. They bring me such joy on a daily basis. Thank you for my friends. One of them who is also my business partner, Sarah. Thank you, good friend for all that you do for the store and for me. Also I am thankful for this hobby of scrapbooking. The ability to carry on memories for my children and those who may care to look at my art in the future.

Thank you to all of you out there too!

Bookmarks

Besides scrapbooking, one of my other favorite things to do during "me" time is read. I LOVE to read. So, in honor of my other hobby, I created a bookmark out of my scrapping supplies. Sarah is an avid reader too, so I made one for her as well. They were both made using a tag off clothing from Target.

Products used: #1 Paper: Golly Gee , Rub-ons: Morocco , Flowers: Flower Frenzy, Letter Stickers: Chestnut, other: ric rac.
#2 Paper: Cornelia Street, Letter Stickers: Chestnut, Flowers: Felt Fusion, Stickers: Grow, other: fiber.
These bookmarks were so fun (and fast) to make. It's amazing what we can do with this wonderful hobby of ours, isn't it?

New stuff is in!

We finally received some new stuff at the store! The Explore line from We R Memory Keepers is awesome! I am so excited to use these for my projects.

I love me some letter stickers too. Letter stickers were a staple of mine when I first started scrapping. I then moved into using my die cut tool. Now I am back to using letter stickers. So much easier. The doodlebug stickers are going to be fun to use. I can't wait!

Layout

Here is a layout I did of my two boys, my niece, and my nephew. I ran across this picture while looking through my stash of photos. I miss Steven and Katie so much. Boy have all the kids changed since then!

Paper and Rub-ons (circles and diamonds) from the Morocco Collection. Letter stickers are Scenic Route. Ghost heart from Heidi Swapp. Other-ribbon and journaling tag.

Hope you are all starting your winter of scrapbooking soon! I know I hope to have more time to work on projects.
