Gift Certificates...

Wondering what to get your scrapbooking friends and/or family members for Christmas? Searching for that last-minute gift that they will love? How about a gift certificate from Scraploft.

Or even better, mention to someone you would like a gift certificate for your gift this year.

The gift certificates are an instant gratification because they are sent to that person via email. How great is that?!

The gift certificate link is located on the left hand side of the page, under Special Items.

Happy shopping!

A little Christmas Cheer...

So I get home late last night from work, which sometimes happen and I get the creative bug (which doesn't happen nearly enough). I run up to the office and create this.

Total time: 30 minutes. For the people who know me - that's nearly a world record. Anyway -pic was taken last weekend when we put up the tree. It's no too late to do a couple of last minute holiday gifts :-)

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Be Good (Poinsettia Paper) and a little chipboard.

Busy times...

Wow...Christmas is just over two weeks away! I can't even believe it. Here I had this silly thought I would have all of my shopping done ahead of time. Ha ha! Funny, Funny!

With many celebrations ahead, there are bound to be plenty of pictures taken. Well, we can help you get those photos into your scrapbooks, into decorated frames, ornaments, or whatever way your heart desires for displaying them. Don't forget to get your Scenic Route or Cosmo Cricket paper and accessories for those photos. We will also have a newsletter with a coupon (I believe) attached coming soon!

Plus, what about those last minute gifts for a crafty person in your life? How about some products from Scraploft?! :)

Enjoy the shopping days left until Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope everyone has had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for everyone and everything in my life. Thankful for my husband and two boys. They bring me such joy on a daily basis. Thank you for my friends. One of them who is also my business partner, Sarah. Thank you, good friend for all that you do for the store and for me. Also I am thankful for this hobby of scrapbooking. The ability to carry on memories for my children and those who may care to look at my art in the future.

Thank you to all of you out there too!

Bookmarks

Besides scrapbooking, one of my other favorite things to do during "me" time is read. I LOVE to read. So, in honor of my other hobby, I created a bookmark out of my scrapping supplies. Sarah is an avid reader too, so I made one for her as well. They were both made using a tag off clothing from Target.

Products used: #1 Paper: Golly Gee , Rub-ons: Morocco , Flowers: Flower Frenzy, Letter Stickers: Chestnut, other: ric rac.
#2 Paper: Cornelia Street, Letter Stickers: Chestnut, Flowers: Felt Fusion, Stickers: Grow, other: fiber.
These bookmarks were so fun (and fast) to make. It's amazing what we can do with this wonderful hobby of ours, isn't it?

New stuff is in!

We finally received some new stuff at the store! The Explore line from We R Memory Keepers is awesome! I am so excited to use these for my projects.

I love me some letter stickers too. Letter stickers were a staple of mine when I first started scrapping. I then moved into using my die cut tool. Now I am back to using letter stickers. So much easier. The doodlebug stickers are going to be fun to use. I can't wait!

Fall Fun

We went to Red Wing this weekend for our annual fall excursion. Always a good time and full of great pictures. I can't wait to add the photos to my fall album. Here is a layout I did with the Gretal line from Cosmo Cricket. I used last year's fall pictures for this project.

I wish Fall was a little longer. I love all the colors and the weather cool enough for a sweat shirt. Enjoy this semi-warm weather while it's here. Winter will arrive before we know it!

Inspiration

It's been a week since a post. I worked all weekend, so no new projects completed. We still have some new products that we are waiting to come in to the store. Pictures to come when we have them. So today's post is about inspiration. Who inspires you in your scrapbooking? Well...I love the way that Sarah scraps. She is so creative. She may not believe that, but she is. She inspires me when we scrap together. So talented.

I also am inspired by Ali Edwards. So talented. Every single project she works on gives me inspiration. Check out this project she is working on for Christmas. I have such a hard time scrapbooking my christmas photos. I think it's because there are too many and I don't know where to start! I am actually trying to come up with a way to display the ones from last year. Well, here is an idea...

Latest Additions...

We have some new stuff added to our store from 7 gypsies. We had some requests for these stickers. These are fun to use as journaling accents. There are more than the Halloween ones available, so checke them out! We also added some more tags. I can't wait to use these for journaling as well. It makes it so easy to journal! Rub-ons are also fun to use.

The new interchangable stamps are going to be fun to use too. We did receive the rectangle ones and we will be getting the round ones in sometime soon. We also will have additional seals to interchange with the ones that are included.

We have new albums from 7 gypsies as well. Including, the 5x7 ring book, composition book, and 12x12 naked binder. Of course there are albums from Maya road available too. These are going to be so fun to alter!

I hope to be doing some projects soon. I will post ideas on how I use these products soon!

Happy Labor to everyone! I hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday weekend. Here are some more pages for inspiration. The first one is using Basic Grey Blush paper pack. I hand cut the flowers that frame the photo out of one of the papers in the pack.

We have returned...safe and sound

Hello to all!

We arrived home safe and sound from South Dakota today. It was a fun trip, full of many memories. And MANY pictures! With my pictures combined with Sarah's we will have enough to make like 25 scrapbooks! :)
I do believe that "the presidents" will be one of the memorable visits for the boys. Everywhere we went they could spot a poster, postcard, etc. of Mount Rushmore a mile away. It was a fun to see there faces when they would make a discovery.

I'm looking forward to getting the pictures printed out within the next couple of days. Maybe even working on a project with them this weekend at our scrapbooking retreat.

By the way, the one year anniversary of Scraploft going live was August 18th. I can't believe how fast the year went by. There is so much we are looking forward to doing in the coming year. With this month being so busy for both of us, we have decided to celebrate in September. Look for a coupon, give aways, and maybe even a sale next month! New products coming too.

I see scrapping in the future...

I went to Idaho August 2-6 for a wedding I was in. My wonderful friend from college is now a married woman! I am so happy for her. She has been looking for her "prince" for some time now and now he is hers. I got some wonderful pictures that I can't wait to scrap.

Back to work for this week until Sunday. Then we leave for SD on a family trip. I am super excited for this trip. Lots of pictures to take there too. I hope the kids have as much fun as I will have! Actually the best part of the trip is that it is one week in my 16 days off from work!

Looking forward to a scrapbooking retreat at the end of August. I think I have sat down to create something maybe...twice this summer! Ugh...lots o' pics to scrap!

Totally going to use some of the new Scenic and Cosmo for some pages....

Linda has also done some great pages using the 3 Bugs in a Rug Spicy Collection. Look at the detail around the flowers - such a great page.
