A few cards

Sorry that it is has been so long since I blogged! Life has been busy. Work has been crazy. Same ole' story. Anywho...here are a couple of cards I made with the Crate Paper that we have at the store. So simple, but still lot's off fun.

This card was made with the Cowgirl Crate Paper and some misc. brown paper. All it is is four hand drawn petals glued together with a circle. Pretty easy!

Here's another Crate Paper card. This one is made with the Twirl Collection.

Lastly - here's a preview of what Jenn and I will be wearing to the Midwest Scrapbook Convention tomorrow! What do you think? Hope to see you there!

One last reminder: SassaFras Lass is 20% on sale starting tomorrow. This is GREAT paper - be sure to check it out!

Halloween...

Ok. I really wanted to post halloween pictures last week, but it got busy around here again. Matthew was the Incredible Hulk and Tyler was Spider Man. Tyler wore his mask everyday for for two weeks before Halloween. So he was ready. It ended up being a chilly night, so we went down the street next to us and came back up our street. Sarah and I found out that the big hit of the night was not the candy...no it was ringing the doorbell! The boys had a couple arguements about who would do that, but they eventually learned to take turns. We came back and had chili with the fixins. The chili warmed me
up after being in the cold!

I can't wait to scrap these pics! They are so fun...

faxing...a simple thing?..apparently not!

ok. so I admit it, my brain is losing a few cells each and every day. Some days a more than other though. As I realized today. So, here's the story...I faxed an order in to Scenic Route Paper Company on October 16th. I then sent a follow up email asking them for estimated shipping date and backorder info if there was any. I didn't receive a reply back so I called. Still didn't hear back, so I emailed again. Finally Sarah called, and THEY DIDN'T EVEN RECEIVE OUR ORDER. Mind you we just found this out last week. Two weeks after the initial fax...

I refaxed the order this morning and went about my day. About 10:30 this morning there was a message on the Scraploft phone from Scenic. They still didn't get our order! ok, I was peeved. I thought there was something wrong with my BRAND NEW fax machine! I called her back and she told me that they would get my fax with my name on it, but the pages were blank. She asked me if I was putting the paper in the right way! Duh, why would I put them in the wrong way? I said I would go home, try again, and call her right away as follow up. Well, I turned the pages the opposite way of what I was doing before, "just in case" (wink here). I called Scenic and the fax arrived! Yes, it was successful! But, I felt a little stupid. Because, yes I had put the papers in the wrong way for the previous two faxes. Duh!!!! So, thank you to Teri at Scenic for setting me straight on the super tech highway!...

Guess What??

I just got done paying bills and I made my last payment on a student loan. Whoo hoo! I can't believe it. It's about time. One student loan payed - only 15K left to go :-) Do you know how good it feels?

Hope you all had a great weekend. Jen and I went scrapbooking on Friday and saw our friend Bonnie.

It is sooooo very nice to see her. She is always an inspiration to me. She's fun, loving, caring, sweet and has a great eye for color.

So - Bonnie - thanks for everything. I had a great time just hanging out.

Here's one of the pages I did - back to basics. I think it turned out cute. This page was done using the SassaFrass Lass papers. Enjoy!

Be on the lookout for more fun projects!

a weekend to fall back on...

This past weekend was a beautiful one here in Minnesota. Sadly, most likely the last one of the year until Spring comes! :( But we took advantage of the weather on Saturday. We headed down to Emma Crumbee's and picked out pumpkins. Took them home and carved them. It was me, Joe, Matthew, Tyler, Todd, and Sarah who went. We grabbed lunch at Emma's too. It was a fun day. We were all exhausted by the end. The boys are such balls of energy. I wish they could pass some on to me some days. These pictures are some of my favorites from the jaunt. Oh, the pumpkin was my sad attempt at carving "Scraploft" into it. I ended up covering the attempt with stickers! Enjoy, I can't wait to scrap these!

Hey, what's your favorite part of the fall season? let us know...

Sunday Project

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you've enjoyed the weekend. I finally had a chance to get in my "studio" and do a project. I say that because right now it's more of a junk room than anything else. It seems like I can't keep it clean - although I suppose a well used creative space is never clean right?

Anyway - here's an altered frame (thanks for the idea Jen!) that I created for a friend of mine. She is in the process of adopting a little girl from Ethiopia! She's received her first pictures - so I thought it would be nice to have a frame to go along with it.
For some reason I have a real connection with this women. As most of you know I was adopted from Korea. She has been honest and open about the whole process the whole time. She has shared her joys and sorrows about the whole adoption process. I am so honored to be involved in such a special part of her life.

Materials Used: Cosmo Cricket: Storytime: Pixie Dust. American Crafts ribbon, and Prima flowers.

Enjoy!

Ordering away...

Hey all! It's been awhile since I posted. Sorry. My family's week has been a tough, emotional one, but I think things are better now. Our youngest boy suffered another asthma attack and was hospitalized overnight at the Children's hospital here in Minneapolis. It was hard to watch him going through what he did those two days. Trouble breathing and those pokes for blood...Yuck! He just wanted to play, like a 2 1/2 year old should! I cried along with him though. It was tough, but hopefully that is behind us for awhile now. He was finally put on some medications to control his asthma. I think those will be his saving grace through this winter season. The last few days reminded me to be thankful though. Thankful for my little man, Tyler. He is a trooper! To be thankful for all that I do have. Matthew, Tyler, Joe, all of my other family and friends...blessings to all whom I know...This is what we have to remember....

So, back to product ordering! I worked on ordering Basic Grey-Dasher, Fruitcake, and Blush. Also Scenic Route-Rockland. Beautiful stuff....stay tuned for updates on the products coming in!
We also added some adhesive and other basics to our store! And of course, the new american crafts greenhouse flowers. So, so cute!!! I can't wait to see them. I haven't even seen them yet...
Enjoy looking at the new stuff as it comes in...stay tuned...

Scrapping...

Well - the lack of technology has caused me to scrap - and I'm loving it. Todd (my DH) built me a new computer. My old one was getting sick and by sick I mean only half working. So - I decided it was time to invest in the a new computer - so that's what I got. Todd was finishing up the computer in his office and I decided to seize the moment and scrapbook.

I've wanted to redo a page for a while - can't tell ya why - I just didn't like it. So I picked out my papers and started to create. What do you think?

The page was made from Crate paper cowboy paper. I think it turned out great. The page is my DH and nephew Tyler at the family cabin. The quote says "Families are the most beautiful things in the world" Thought it was fitting by how cute the two look.

Better run!

Have a good day!

Too early for Christmas wishes?...

Not according to us ladies at Scraploft! We have made the big decision on which papers to get in time for the holiday season...(drum roll here) Basic Grey-Dasher, Fruitcake, and Blush. And Scenic Route Rockland. Stay tuned for pictures and further info. I am SO excited for these papers. Excited to see the pretty paper and excited to see what I can do with them! I am on this altering frenzy. Everything I look at I seem to think, "How could I alter that?" It's a new thing for me.

At our meeting today I learned how to enter product into our inventory! I am so pumped for this. I know it sounds lame to be pumped about inventory, but hey I am not a savvy computer user. Anything new I can learn with a computer is awesome to me. The little things I guess. It was a good productive evening for us. We got some decisions made and a lot of stuff done. Big to do list for next week though! It's alright. Keeps us busy....in the mode for our success.

We'll keep you all posted on the arrival of our beautiful paper from Basic Grey and Scenic Route!

it's coming...

The beautiful weather this past weekend is behind us here in Minnesota. How sad that it was probably the last warm weather until April or May next year. It is suppose to be in the 30s by Thursday here! How crazy is that? 80 degrees on Saturday and 5 days later in the 30s with snow! It's not crazy I guess...it's Minnesota. Minnesota, where I have lived for 29 years. Despite the weather I wouldn't change where I live.

The cold weather means I don't feel so guilty about staying inside and working on my scrapping projects. I have tons of projects running through my mind. Each day is filled with a new inspiration for a project to work on. My ultimate goal for this winter, and I know it's a couple of months away, is to actually scrap my christmas pictures this year! I have not scrapped, and don't yell at me, my christmas pictures for 3 years! I take too many and I have trouble narrowing down. It goes back to the "event" scrapping that I have moved away from. I wrote about this in a previous post. Anyway...as Sarah mentioned in the post before this, we are working getting some holiday paper added to Scraploft. We are so excited for this. But it will be a challenge to decide which lines to get.

Paper...pretty paper...this is one of the reasons I am goal oriented to get those photos from christmas scrapped. The main reason is that I need to capture moments when my children are little. Christmas time is a busy time in our family. We usually have FIVE different celebrations to attend every year. With so many photo ops, you think I could do ONE layout, right? We'll see. Keep the thoughts comin' in on which line of paper you like best.

Fall and uh... Christmas

Hello All -

I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a great weekend - a bit tired, but a great weekend none the less.

The Niemi's and Weierke's went off to Redwing on Saturday to take in all of the wonderful fall colors. It was beautiful. Took a ton a pictures. Had a great time. I actually keep an Autumn scrapbook. I think it is my fave season - so we tend to do lot's of stuff from the Apple Orchard to the Pumpkin Patch we do it all. Below are a couple of my fave pics from the weekend.

Okay - now onto the tough decisions in life. Jen and I are looking into getting some christmas lines for the store. We are looking into a few different ones. Here is our list - would love to see what you think.
  • Crate Paper
  • Basic Grey
  • Cosmo Cricket
  • Flair Designs
  • Doodlebug

and a few others. We just can't decide - we want them all. So - if you were in our shoes - which 2 would you pick? We would love to hear what you have to say!
Happy Scrapping!

The weekend ahead

It's Friday! Happy Friday everyone. I hope you are looking forward to the weekend as much as I am. It has been busy and for those of you that know me (I am a project manager at a local market research company) - know that work has been busy. It's the fall - it's let's conduct research time.

Anyway - I digress. This weekend is going to be a good one. Tonight I have to clean - ewww, but it's worth it for the fun part. Tomorrow we are going to redwing with the "boys" (Matt and Ty) and are going to check out the brilliant leaves and then they get to stay the night with uncle Todd and auntie Sarah. Oh how I look forward to this. I feel like I haven't spent "quality" time with them in so long. It's going to be fun. Then Sunday - it's either football or baseball (I prefer the Twins - please, please win the next two games!) Can you ask for a better (non-scrapping) weekend?

To decompress after work - I've finally started back in on my office. After going to Raspberry Ridge in August I haven't "unpacked" any of my scrapbook stuff. It's just been in the living room - where I will rummage through until I find what I am looking for.

I've put the paper away along with the majority of stickers. I would love to hear about how you store all your paper and stickers. Is it similar to mine? My biggest battle is with clutter. Any suggestions on how to help me with that?

Pstt... These two areas are the only clean areas in the room :-) Hopefully soon that will not be the case!

Anyway - have a great weekend!

Speaking of projects...

It looks like the whole team is finishing "projects" I just finished putting the final touches of a wedding album that I made for a friend of mine. Here's the last page of the album. I used the MME transparencies - I think we are sold out of this one - but here is another.

I love how the page turned out. This is a project I am so glad to get off my plate. I've been working on it for a year. This is also my first time altering an actual album cover. I glued ribbon down the edge and use a "love" run on. I think it turned out pretty good.

What do you think? As most of you know I am completely behind the times for altering things. I would love to see some of your ideas/thoughts on you different altered items. Give us a e-mail (scraploft@gmail.com) with a pic of your fave altered item and you might see it on the blog!

Have a CREATE Day!

finished projects...

As promised, here are the pictures of the projects I worked on late in to the night. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. I loved making the "J" of course because of the flowers. The framed page was fun to make because I just love doing pages of my little ones. Product details are listed below. Most of the items are available at Scraploft. Enjoy...

This "J" is a making memories chipboard letter. The patterned paper is Crate paper. Cowgirl collection, "Side Saddle". The red flowers are quickutz. The brown flowers are prima flowers from the "itty bitty" bag. The letter stickers are from Rusty Pickle.
This frame page is made with the "Wanted" line from Cosmo Cricket. The papers are "Buffalo Bill" and "Slim Jim". The diecuts are from the same line. Other: ribbon and frame.

Another view of the framed page. Lovin' the Cosmo Cricket, yes I am!

I will post the goodies I got on my trip into Stillwater sometime this week. I do have to work my main job for the next few days, but the pics will get up soon. Have a super week! Come visit us often...

gotta love the weekends!

Sarah and I went to Stillwater to go antique shopping on Saturday. I was looking forward to this for a long time. We planned this a couple of months ago. We both found some great things. I bought a lot of things for my future "office". I will share pictures later on tonight.

Today I have big plans. I have the entire house to my self all day! Well until late afternoon at least. :) This is a rarity in my household. I am going to clean (yuck!) the kitchen and bathroom. I want to clean the kitchen for my own personal benefit. The kitchen table is covered and this is my scrap space. For now. After the cleaning I will move to the fun stuff. I am going to make a page of my boys and put it in a 8x10 frame. A great find from a garage sale for 50 cents! Then I am going to try my first attempt at mog pogging. I got this great letter in the mail from Bonnie. The letter "J", how fitting! Anyway, going to cover it in some great paper and embelish it. Excited, excited. Pictures to come soon...

The one picture I needed...

Matthew was suppose to bring a picture of him into school. The picture had to be between age 6 months and a year. The letter came home two weeks ago. I looked initially that night and didn't find too many between that age. Like two or three of them. I kept putting it off and decided to wait until the last second. Well, the picture was to be in today. Last night, I looked on the computer for a digital one and there were none to be found! What was I going to do? For a scrapbooker (1) and for a mom (2) of a first born (3), you would think I had tons of pictures of him.

Oh, wait the scrapbooker in me is the reason I didn't have any. See I first started scrapbooking 3 months after Matthew was born. I scrapbooked his ENTIRE first year. Like all of it. The day he was born, the first day home, first foods, sitting up, crying, laughing, talking, walking, etc. You name something he did in his first year, it's in his scrapbook. I remember doing this awful ugly page where I attempted to have pictures of Matthew with all of his grandparents AND great grandparents on ONE layout! Oh my gosh, it looks like a collage... anyway I was obsessed! I even took whatever was leftover from the year, and didn't fit into an "event" category, and put them all onto a layout and called it "Cute as a button".

Yes I am a freak! I felt the need to scrapbook every single picture I ever took of him that first year. This is EXACTLY why I could not find a picture of him for that specific age. They were all hermafixed down in an album. :)

My scrapbooking style has definitely changed over the 4 years I have been doing this wonderful hobby! I feel that I have developed into a more emotional scrapbooker. More of the everyday antics of my boys that touch me. I have a difficult time with event stuff now. I take too many darn pictures! One picture layouts are my favorite.

How has your scrapbooking style changed over the time you have been doing it? Tell us about it. Share with us any goals or aspirations you have for your scrapbooking. One of my goals is to try to do more mini albums and do more altering projects. We'll see. Share your stories...

Oh, I did find a picture of Matthew in a box which I went to in desperation. It actually is a favorite of mine of him. It made me smile when I found it. Kind of sad in a way too. He has grown up so fast...I actually remember taking that picture. I guess I didn't scrapbook that one. Darnit...I'll have to go back and fit it in some where! :)

Before and After

So as you all know I had a retreat this weekend. I had a great time. Anyway - while I was there I altered my Cosmo Cricket Plain Jane chipboard box.

Here is the before picture:

Here is the after picture

I covered the box with the Cosmo Cricket Jitterbug paper. I inked the edges to give the box alittle depth. I made a little button loop to finish the box.

This project was a lot of fun. I would love to see all the different items that you have altered!

My weekend away...

Sorry the blog hasn't been updated in a few days. Life has been busy. I am currently sitting at a scrapbooking retreat in Redwing. It is a wonderful old house - it's been updated with all that a scrapbook retreat should have. A 12x12 printer, Wishblade, punches, trimmers, xyron and lot's of fun projects.

I've been working on some fun items with the new Crate paper - so be on the outlook for some cards with Crate, and a jewelery box with the new Cosmo Cricket Jitterbug paper. It is super cute.

I helped my aunt do her first scrapbook page. She is working on a heritage album with pictures of my great grandmother and grandfather. It's amazing how much history she has gathered over the last five years which brings me to my last point. It's something that I struggle with frequently. Journal, Journal, Journal. It's often the last thing on my mind - and I tend to only leave space for "some" journaling. My grandmother kept a journal that is filled with poems and stories that she has written - all in her own handwriting. It is this type of thing that I've enjoyed most. So do your family a favor and jot down a few quotes, stories and ideas in your own handwriting. You could bring smiles to the faces of your future granddaughter.

Grandma - I miss you tons and wish you were still here to see your daughter (Jo) and your granddaughter enjoy reading your stories and poems - it made my day.

Oh. Lastly - if anybody needs any "special" items that are not on our website (Yes Bonnie - we are getting storage.) Let me know - we can add it to our list of items to be ordered from our distributor. We'll sell all items special ordered with our normal 10 to 15% below MSRP.

It's finally here!

Okay - so some exciting news! Crate paper is finally here. It's so pretty. I can't wait to use it. We splurged and bought the whole new fall line. Take a look and tell me what you think?

This paper is awesome and the texture is phenomenol. Everything matches and looks great.

Here are a couple of ideas from the Crate paper website of things you can alter or do. They are super duper cute.

remembering a name...

How does one remember the name of someone or something? Do we remember it best if we see it in writing? or how about if we hear it? Just curious. We are working on advertising and marketing currently for Scraploft. Getting our name out there. Hoping that our fellow or new comer scrapbookers will hear or read our name somewhere. Remember us when they need ideas for scrapbooking. Remember us when they need product for their own scrapbooking journey.

It's hard to advertise. My assignment was to post our business cards or flyers in public places around town. So I made these cute little 9x9 pages to post. Little pockets to hold our business cards. Well a lot of places don't accept commercial advertising. I suppose they don't want hundreds of flyers covering their bulletin boards and making a mess. I understand that part, but I worked so hard on these! :) I've tried the grocery stores, library, community center, and laundromat. Any other ideas that are out there for places to post? We will be working on the internet and other ways of marketing, but posting flyers....where...post or comment if you have any suggestions. thanks...
P.S. Create a 9x9 page for your next photos using these pictures as sketches. Both pages feature Bazzil cardstock and American Crafts patterened paper. All papers are available to you at Scraploft!

I did it...

Ok. So I was a little hesitant about doing my first order "fullfillment" on my own. But it went fine. I went to the Scraploft office after work which ended up being like 1:00 am on Friday morning. I printed off the detailed directions that Sarah wrote up for order processing. The fun part was pulling the product that was ordered. I got to revisit the pretty patterned paper we have! Who would have ever thought I would love paper so much!

Anyway...the product was pulled and then it came time to do the shipping portion. After finding the correct box for the items, the label was printed. Then came the money part. I walked through each step carefully because I didn't want to mess something up. I was successful, so I think, at the credit card stuff. After all was said and done, I left the office at 2:23 am. Wow, what a process. It will come easier with repetition I am sure.... oh I managed to make the tape dispenser dysfunctional too. Or maybe I was the dysfunctional one because all it needed was the tape pulled through. I didn't even know how to do THAT. I remembered to grab the package on my way out of the office this time too. Quite impressive for so early in the morning...or late at night in my case! I enjoyed the experience, so keep em' coming!

Altered Items...

Today I attended a baby shower for a guy at work that just had a daughter. She was so cute. As a gift - I bought her some cute little clothes at Old Navy and altered an album for her. What do you think?

I think it turned out great. It's just a Kolo album decorated. I've never been one to alter items although I'm getting more and more into. I think I like doing these projects because they are "instant gratification" projects. I am a very slow scrapbooker. It takes me hours to finish a layout, but I enjoy the creative process - so it's worth it.

I also did another altered project. It is a journal for a friend of mine that is going to Ethiopia to adopt her little girl. It's just a covered composition book. It was my first sucessful attempt that doing one and I had a great time.

The composition book is covered with MME Signature Suite "Only You" Fun Floral paper, and the flowers come from the Prima Bitty Bag. E-mail Scraploft if you want directions for either of these projects.

Hope you all had a great day - can you believe that tomorrow is Thursday already? Time flies when you are having fun :-)

Sweet moments...

It has been awhile since my last entry and it's been another busy week. Highlights. Matthew made it through is first two days of preschool! He didn't have any problems saying good bye to me once he was there. He is a big boy now, you know! : ( Tyler cried when we left Matt at school. He wanted his brother home with him to play. Tyler crying is what made me cry. I got some tears when Matthew went into his classroom but even more came when Tyler started crying. Mom in me I suppose.

Today I went to THE craft fair in Little Falls, MN with my mom. I have never seen so many talented people in one place. There were people there bending barb wire, shaping records into bowls, making purses out of old album covers, and even making birthday cakes out of baby items (blankets, diapers, socks, and bottles). Talent, it's all around us. It is amazing to me.

One surprise at the craft fair today was seeing our friend, Bonnie! She was there with her husband who grew up around the area. She had this wonderful sign to show me. "Sweet Pea" it said. So perfect for those of us who are familiar with Two Peas. I found out where she got it, went to look for it, but there weren't any left! :( We ran into them again and I told her the signs were gone. She told me to enjoy the sign through her then. LOL... Well a few minutes later, Greg comes to find me and tells me to come with him. Lo and behold, Bonnie found another sign for me! She asked the lady at the booth if she had more! Such a sweetie, you are Bonnie. Going above and beyond again. Thank you.

Back to talent. Scrapbooking is the talent that I am claiming at this point in my life. I don't really have any other talents per say. What would you say your talent is? Scrapbooking, card making, perhaps sitting around eating bons bons all day while watching soap operas (wink, Sarah!). Let us know. We would like to know more about you, our fellow bloggers and customers.
Sarah, Niki, and I have continued to work on Scraploft stuff this week. We have a weekly meeting still. Why do we need a weekly meeting? It keeps us in check. Keeps us busy with what we need to do to build a successful business. Tuesday is the next one. Stay tuned for new ideas posted in the gallery at www.scraploft.com too. Keep on reading and posting...
Later,
Jenny

Friends...

It's Friday! Yay! I think that Friday's are my favorite days. I love the anticipation for the weekend. Tonight I got home from work and "accidently" took an hour nap on the couch. It felt oh so good. Todd was kind enough to clean up the kitchen and go to the grocery store - and while he was gone I just konked out on the couch.

It has been a tough week. It was made so much better yesterday though... Our friend Bonnie sent us Scraploft gals a little care package. It consisted of these great MM monograms.
All three of us got our initial - so cute. But more than the actual gift - Bonnie personalized each one with a litte note and instructions on how to decorate them - it meant so much to me. Just the thought that someone was thinking about us - gave me warm fuzzies. It made my day. Thanks Bonnie - it means alot to me that you would go out of your way and do something like this!

Okay - back to the Scraploft stuff. Heidi Swapp is entered and is on the website. I think my fave item(s) are the chipboard letters. As you know (from previous posts) that I love chipboard. Come'on you can't tell me that these don't ROCK!
We have them in Red, Brown, Black, White, Pink and Blue.

I'll be working on getting more images posted on the Gallery so check back often.

Have a great weekend!

Simplify...

I had Chinese for lunch today - which in its self not a big deal - but with Chinese comes the fortune cookie. Today's fortune cookie was very profound to me today.

"You will reap rewards by simplifying your lifestyle."

Such a simple sentence. 7 little words. That's all. It's amazing how easily I can complicate my life. It seems like everything is difficult and takes many steps. Why does it need to be like that? Well - as it turns out it doesn't have to be like that. It is me who makes it difficult. I am the one who is causing the difficulty. Does anyone else feel like this? Anyone make life more difficult than it really should be?

On the note of simplifying... Is there anything that we at Scraploft can do to make your lives less difficult? We all live busy complicated lives and many of us wear a lot of different hats. We are wives, friends, aunts, employees, scrapbookers, teachers, sisters, mothers and some of us are even grandmothers.

None of us needs scrapbook supplies - most of us purchase on wants, so what can we do to make it easier to shop?

Anything we need to do to "simplify" the buying experience? Do we need to offer kits or sets, send out more/less newsletters, sort or categorize differently. Do we need to be more personable, send different invoices, change the way we ship? Anything at all?

This is an open forum - so feel free to comment. I know we don't usually get a lot of comments, but just this once - place a comment - tell us what we can do for YOU!

A couple of layouts...

I've updated the gallery with a couple of layouts that I did at Raspberry Ridge. Here's one using the super duper cute SassafrassLass paper. This paper just screams cute little kid pages.

This is my little niece Katie - isn't she cute? Anyway - I loved the Li'l Davis Tinseltown letters. The sparkles add a little something.

I also did a page of Jack (my pup) and my nephew (Katie's brother). I'm sure you don't care about the relation - but thought I would tell you anyway. This one is done with the Scenic Route Paper. I've always LOVED Scenic Route. Their color schemes are right up my ally. Primary colors have always been my first love - and so going back to it is always fun!

Well this is it for now. I'll upload some more layouts soon :-)

Some of my favorite things...

So I was putting orders together last night {which by the way is funner than you might think} and was pulling product and all the sudden I got this incredible urge to buy - so what did I do? I went shopping in the basement. Here are a couple of my favorites that I can't wait to use!

MME - You and ME

Just look at these two items. They are so beautiful! I am thinking about altering a mini album and putting picture of my husband and I in it. I think a 6 x 6 album would look the cutest! You could cut the paper in half and in half again and still get to use all the awesome scroll work on either side. Plus their is also a transparency flower with this set that I can't wait to use. Take a look at the whole collection - you'll absolutely love the coordinating mini flowers that go with this set.
Now if I could only find time to do it. :-) I hope everyone has a GREAT long holiday weekend. I wish you all great times with friends and family!
